Customized Training Policy
Square One is pleased to offer customized curriculum for individual organizations seeking prevention and early intervention training for educators, early care providers, home visitors and caregivers working with children 0-5 years. Our low cost, high quality, research-, evidence-based PEI curriculum may be facilitated in three- or six-hour format on-site or at convenient locations throughout Hampton Roads. Course offerings include: infant care and development (birth - 12 mo; 13 mo - 36 mo; 37mo - 5 yrs); parent-child interaction; brain development; child abuse and neglect; parental health; substance abuse; ethical issues; skills for home visitors; language development; working with resistance; case documentation; and supervision skills.
